"Staff were so lovely and attentive and the food and coffee were great! Wonderful little spot as I waited to check in to my accommodation"
"We visited Kayu after a hard workout at Bambu Fitness Bali and it was a perfect post-workout spot. Getting there is a bit tricky as we followed the instruction on Google Map but it led us to the backside of the cafe which is the entrance to private villa / residence. We had to ask the housekeepers there on how to get to Kayu. We then had to go around the entire Dolce Villa in a clockwise fashion and then enter the villa complex in order to find Kayu Cafe at the center. Once we got there, the team provided exceptional service and walked us through their new menu as they just opened recently. While it was a hot day and the fan wasn’t working properly, the staff kindly asked us to be seated underneath the huge tree in the courtyard which was very relaxing & comfortable. We spent an hour drinking our iced Oat Latte & Matcha Latte with the Sunrise Glow Bowl. The bowl was excellent but we found the drinks to have too much ice and on a hot Bali day, the drinks were quickly diluted and became watery. Will definitely visit again in the future and would love to stay at the Dolce Villa as that place seems to be incredible!"
"Beautiful cafe, really genuine and kind staff, the small fruit bowl was lovely with coconut yogurt - it was so nice and thick like Greek yogurt which is rare for a plant-based yoghurt. I loved their light, homemade almond milk although I found the coffee very weak that I had to order two."
"Great service and great food. Specially if you don’t want to leave the villa. You can grab delicious food from here. Winda and all the other staff were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend you stay at Dolce Villa and try the delicious foods at Kayu Cafe"
"A wonderful café with delicious breakfast options. The coffee was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed, with great background music that instantly puts you in a good mood. The dogs, Aiko and Levy, who are often around, are absolutely adorable. I enjoyed it so much that I went three days in a row—either for breakfast or just a quick coffee break. There’s truly something for everyone here."
"absolutely delicious!! Had goosebumps trying the beef! The staff is super lovely and welcoming !"
"A stunning new cafe that is beautifully decorated and furnished and offers a great menu with something for everyone. The meals are excellent and good portion sizes. Coffee is fantastic, 1 of the best in the area! Smoothies are fantastic too (berry is the GOAT). Toasted sandwich is also one of the best in Ulu. Service is great and super friendly, very attentive and not over the top. This place has become one of my regular spots for breakfast."
"Very nice looking cafe, the food was very good. Even so I wouldn’t recommend the burrata toast it’s very expensive compared to other items on the money, felt a bit ripped off. Maybe we were just unlucky but the mango juice was not good, had a very odd taste."
